Good point Adam... it really depends on what you'll be using it for. Personally, I'm a huge fan of iPhone and ever since iPhone 4 I couldn't be happier. I think I like it more for the multimedia functionality of it which is probably the best on the market (recording hd video, taking hi-res pictures, etc.). You gotta be careful with it though, because it's made mostly out of aluminum and glass.

Blackberry, on the other hand is a lot less fragile than the iPhone and it does have the very popular BBM chat app. BBM is basically the main selling point for blackberries, as it's another type of social network that a lot of people are using these days (similar to msn messenger). That's why it's so appealing to business people.

If you take user interface into consideration then the iPhone is far superior.
Apps wise the iphone will take the lead again. Honestly the only thing i can think BB being better at is email...

I never thought I'd say this but I'm actually thinking about switching to Blackberry... I love my iPhone 4 but the problem is that most of my friends now have berries. Half the time I don't even know what's going on because they have little groups set up on bbm where they chat all the time lol... so friggin annoying

I have a Blackberry Storm and I love it! You can download apps on that too, obviously not like an iPhone but it's fun to have and it's so easy to just hit someone up on bbm and chat with them, I like that you get a little "D" and "R" when you sent a chat text that tells you when it's delivered and when it's read or received. I say definitely get a berry!

well i just jumped on the android bandwagon
got the Samsung Galaxy S (Captivate from at&t)
and damn this thing is sexy. bigger screen than iphone 4, seems to run a bit faster than the iphone4

btw i have used both iphone4 and a captivate before i made my pick. android seems to be the better bet for the future.

I definitely agree though, Android phones are just getting better and better... you can do way more with them, almost like a PC whereas the iPhone is selective. it does some things really well, but doesn't allow you to do other things "at all" depending on what Steve Jobs decides lol

ya but the advantage of iOS is that apple provides users with tools to format their device
with android thats a problem since every provider rolls their own sw on top of android and most of them (other then HTC to my knowledge) provide no tools to let users roll back to a factory install if they mess with it too much =p
