"Alors On Danse," So We Dance...Kanye West Remix

    Although this song has nothing to do with Vancouver, I wanted to share this because I was in Vancouver when I first heard it. I thought Kanye did a wicked remix to the original, which is saying a lot coming from me because I rarely like remixes to songs that are hella dope as the authentic version, even though the first one is AMAZING! The real track is by Stromae and pretty much all sung in French, the song basically just sings about a guy telling someone to just dance when things could be worse than they really are, but that's if you literally translate and summarize the song. As for the Kanye version, there's no translation needed. Enjoy! :)

    yeaaaaa this track is awesome! i downloaded it from a blog in august and burned it onto a cd without really listening to it (if it's with Ye you know it'll be good)... when i finally heard it in my car i was blown! good vibes warsan ;)

    Of course he did a good job!! I never listened to it either and just added it to my phone, then as I was walking it shuffled to this track and I was so excited that I had headphones in and added the bass boost to my media player (there's an option for it in the Music section on BlackBerries) and I was so amazed by how good it was since I had the original already!

    Listen to this song, I know you're familiar with Rune RK so of course it's good! :)

    @bufli dude, did you discover any crazy new music when you were out in Europe? they must have some wicked vibes going on there, birthplace of the whole electro/techno/house scene...

    @Simon i didn't go this summer unfortunately. however, the songs from last summer are starting to show up here
    ex: edward maya -stereo love
    (gotta love that 1year delay and they have the guts to call it "new" on the radio on this side of the pond)
    other ones that i remember off the top of my head:




    i haven't really kept up with the music scene... i literally have no more free time =( even ended up selling a bunch of my audio equipment this past summer ...
